From the hottest modern music to living history on display, there are plenty of places for visitors to the Phoenix area to gather for great times.
March is a solid month for that fun factor, with some significant events that are great for all ages and some more suited to the older crowd. Here’s a look at a few events on the horizon for the third month of 2023.
M3F
A two-day music event, M3F is for people who want to hear the hippest styles of rock, pop and dance music, all in one place. It takes place on March 3 and 4 at Hance Park in Phoenix.
The headliners this year are well-known among discerning music lovers. Maggie Rogers blends singer-songwriter charm with up-to-date dance beats for an interesting style. Quinn XCII also touches many styles in his music, including hip-hop, reggae and electronic dance. Jamie XX is a British DJ and recording artist known equally for his band, The XX, and his experimental yet still danceable solo work.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Irish Faire
As the middle of the month gets closer, there’s always room for celebrating all things Ireland. That’s true in Phoenix, as this event also occurs on March 11, at the busy Hance Park.
The parade is popular, with floats, music and dancing all to the fore. It starts at 10 a.m. at the corner of 3rd and Oak streets. The fair opens soon after and features Irish dance troupes, musical acts, traditional Irish food and drink and cultural exhibits.

Arizona Aloha Festival
Speaking of cultural events, one of the most popular in the Phoenix region is this one, which takes place on March 11 and 12 at Temple Town Lake. A free event, the Aloha Festival has a variety of events for the entire family.
Among the offerings is the Ohana Village, which features displays and non-profits. Daily performances on two stages feature music and dance from the South Pacific. Three different courts feature plenty of island classics for food and drink. There’s also the House of Knowledge, a rotating stage of performers, speakers and dance instructors to entertain and educate.

Arizona Bike Week
Westworld of Scottsdale is the place for this 26th annual festival of two-wheel motorized wonders. A kind of mini-Sturges, this popular event is for motorcycle fans, but also features a ton more to do.
For instance, there is top-notch national live entertainment. This year includes classic alternative artist Billy Idol, heavy rockers Megadeth and still-loved nu-metal band Staind. Add bike drag races, even more music, food and drink, factory demos and a motocross stunt show and you have an event that will truly get your motor runnin’.
It takes place from March 29 to April 2. You can find all the relevant details about this popular event on its comprehensive website.
Every aspect of managing an association
Another street-level activity is the daily work that we all do. For some, that means managing the business of a homeowners’ association, and if you are seeking help with that, PMI Phoenix Valley can provide it.
Our work for associations blends integrity, communication skills, honesty, accurate accounting and access. We can provide community websites, homeowner portals, accounting and reporting, vendor communication and compliance inspections are part of our programs. Find out more by visiting our website.
